Microstructural Analysis of Details Obtained by Liquefying Gray Cast Iron in a Sand – Clay Mold
Abstract
This article presents a microstructural analysis of details obtained in an electric furnace in a gray cast iron alloy. The samples poured into the sand-clay mold were studied using a scanning electron microscope, and it was important to determine the mechanical, physical and technological properties of the details through the obtained structures.
