Manifestation of Sources of Uncertainty in Measurements

Abstract

This article highlights the inaccuracies that appear in measurement results and their sources. Methods for estimating uncertainty and an analysis of the steps that need to be taken to assess the uncertainty inherent in the measurement result are presented.
