In research conducted using a population of 10 business entities listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2016-2021 period. in processing the research data carried out applying multiple linear regression analysis. In the resulting research data it is shown that the partial capital structure for proxies using the Debt to Equity Ratio has a significant and negative effect on financial performance. where there is a negative effect caused by the higher capital structure makes the financial performance lower. the growth of wealth or assets does not have a significant effect on financial performance. This is due to the process of growing assets in a business entity, even though with a maximum, but accompanied by the existence of external financing sources as a form of causing an increase in the budget with a decrease in the level of financial performance that is carried out.
